Closer-by are Ottobeuren (basilica and its famous organ), Babenhausen (Fugger castle and museum), Roggenburg monastery and the Vöhlin castle in Illertissen with its bee museum). The former imperial towns of Memmingen and Kempten offer idyllic and central shopping as you might not see it in many other German towns, they are within easy distance via the A7 motorway.
 

Eversleigh in Illereichen is an ideal starting point for your holiday activities. You can go hiking or cycling in the vicinity, visit a gym, enjoy wellness treatments or a round of golf. If you like swimming in the lakes, swimming pools or water parks, if you like alpine or overland skiing in Winter, or if you prefer to enjoy the many cultural sights of the area - you can be there within a short time.
 

Altenstadt lies on a well-frequented rail link. If you wish to leave your car and the hassle of driving behind, you can comfortably reach many places of excursion by train.
